  • Sunscreen Dispenser Community Project

    Studies show us that individuals in rural areas are at a much higher risk for developing skin cancer, specifically melanoma. Why is that? Delayed dermatologic coverage, education & knowledge gaps, and reduced access to sunscreen. The Closer Look Project wants to give back by promoting primary prevention and installing 10 sunscreen dispensers with refills in various rural areas in West Virginia & Southern Virginia.
